The Bulls are BACK !

Dernière mise à jour : 6 sept. 2021

One of the principle franchises of the NBA, Chicago Bulls, are back with a stronger and competitive team for the 2021-2022 season. In recent years, the Bulls have struggled to be recognized in the league. They have lost their famous image. Indeed, for 4 years the Chicago Bulls did not participate in the playoffs. Since the team had lost Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman, the Bulls have not won a single NBA title or even conference. However, during 2009 and 2015, D-Rose and Joachim Noah have impacted the franchise and the game with a participation in the playoffs each year along with a conference final in 2011.

Although the results are very unexpected, Chicago have relied heavily for 4 years on their Franchise player, all star and two times dunk contest winner Zach Lavine. He did a magnificent season on an individual level last year as he averaged 27.4 points and shot 50.7% from the field. For this new season he will be paired with a talented center Nikola Vucevic but also on new arrivals of high quality players ...

-Demar Derozan: The 4 times all star joined the Bulls this summer. With this move the Bulls added a new all star level player capable of passing and scoring. For 8 years Demar Derozan avereged more than 20 pts over a season. He is one of the biggest trades this summer and will be reinforcing the Bulls to be a serious competitor in the playoffs.

-Nikola Vucevic: He joined the Bulls last year. He is a center power forward capable of shooting. He is the 3rd all star of the team with 2 selections. He averaged more than 20 pts in 4 years.

-Lonzo ball: The number 2 of the 2017 draft also joined Illinois this summer. This talented passer will have the mission of leading the game and supporting Lavine and Derozan.

Quality role players can also support these 4 players. Indeed, young players Coby White and Patrick Williams will still be white and red to thrill the United Center. In addition, two super role players have joined the ship in the matter of Alex Caruso and Derrick Jones JR. Also, bench depth will be a big plus for the Bulls in this Eastern Conference.

Will we finally see the Bulls back in the playoffs? What will the duo Derozan / Lavine give? Will they be strong enough to aim for the top 4 in the conference? We will be eager to follow this season of the Bulls in MyBlock.
