On June 19, 2016 at Oracle Arena (Oakland, California) Lebron James made one of the most iconic plays in basketball history. With only a few minutes remaining in Game 7 of the NBA Finals between the Golden States Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers, LeBron James (top) blocked Andre Iguodala (bottom). According to teammate Kevin Love : " probably the most crucial, the most clutch and best block ... of all time. " This legendary play allowed the Cleveland Cavaliers to win their first NBA championship ring in many years. Indeed, after this defeat in 2015 against the Warriors, and in 2007 against Tony Parker's Spurs, 2016 was the year for Lebron James, Kyrie Irving, and the rest of the team.
From a personal point of view, it was important for me to start with this post to inaugurate my blog, because that famous game 7 and this magic block gave me the love of this sport .
The first video is Lebron James' block live as if you were there. Then the second video is the block commentated by his teammate Richard Jefferson. To finish, a 1 minute of video where you can appreciate the block from all angles by different commentators.
